MIGHTY Digital Transformation Toolbox serves as a path for One-Stop-Shops. While all SMEs are unique, the process is agile and used as a toolbox of the 4 dimensions more than a strict process. Diversity and gender equality is a central approach through the whole process as well as the sustainability goals in agenda 2030.


MIGHTY Digital Transformation Toolbox

Awareness raising is critical due to SME and the public sectors often lack awareness of the opportunities digitalisation and GovTech gives. Experience shows that reaching out from One-Stop-Shops is crucial to meet needs and to push the SMEs and Public sector in digitalisation.

Diagnosis is the entry point to the start of transformation. Several tools are used as Digital Maturity Assessments, SWOT-analysis to identify gains and pains is another. Output from this step is a baseline with identified needs for Sustainable digital transformation.

Transformation plan identifies and selects the most valuable initiative for digital transformation. Benchmarks and pre studies are important tools as well as coaching. SMEs or the public sector will be supported to find investment or to find partners and identify appropriate infrastructure in the MIGHTY network in the region, nationally or in the EU. Needed skills and training are identified. MIGHTY support transformation in public procurement towards innovative ways for opening up the public sector to co-create and collaborate with Quadruple Helix for public value will be in focus. Output from this step is prioritized backlog.

Realisation if necessary, commitments and funding are given, then start an agile digital transformation, where MIGHTY will initiate and create an activity and resource plan for allocating needed resources and infrastructure.

Regional Growth to gain more business and increase the labour market of the SME, as well as internationalization. MIGHTY have knowledge and experts with EEN-consultant.

Performance monitoring will be measured of the given KPIs. will be calculated for KPI-Information Service in two categories, SME and public sector. The 4 dimensions will be measured by number of supports, and also digital maturity evaluation of how the entities have been supported by MIGHTY. In the Region Grow, KPI will measure creation and potential for SME market maturity indicator and market creation potential indicator.

MIGHTY Organization in a glimpse

MIGHTY Smart Specialisation Strategy Steering Board is chaired by one of the five Regional Development Directors, and all Regions management are represented.

MIGHTY Strategic Research and Technology Forum is chaired by one of the for Universities. Each university participates with 3 representatives from each, Dalarna University, Mid Sweden University, Gävle University and RISE. The Forum is securing that MIGHTY actively understand the needs from SME and Public Sector. The Forum addresses how to apply new emerging technology into use and also shares the pitfalls and best practices.

MIGHTY Strategic Advisory Board supports project management in focusing on relevant subjects and services. Feedback and outlook for opportunities aligned with S3 and achieve cross sectorial benefits. Organizations within the board is yet to be confirmed.

MIGHTY Network, securing a broad regional penetration for the EDIH consists of Science Parks, Incubators, Bransch organizations, Clusters and public organizations spread all over the region. I.e. ALMI, Bizmaker Science Park & Incubator, Chamber of commerce, Dalarna Science Park, Enterprise Europé Network (EEN)., FindIT, GovTech Sweden, the Industrial collaboration platform of Västernorrland, Movexum inkubator, regional government agencies network, Paper Province, Peak Innovation, Samling Näringsliv, the Swedish Federation of, Business Owners and Triple Steelix.
